Why must I be a exibitionist
Well, that isn't true.
A few months ago, in Jan, I started a Live Journal. I felt great, because to a degree, it allowed me to skip more social gatherings, and avoid lenghtly phone calls from well-wishers and friends that tie up my time and kept me from Final Fantasy XI.
The Live Journal was a way for me to express myself, and get out things that bothered me, things that made me happy, blah blah, you get the picture. The problem was, part of the reason I started a Live Journal was because my friend, _________, had met some truely interesting people on it. I have since met these people ,and they are awesome. My Live Journal, though, was also full of friends that read everything I wrote, therefore made it a lot harder to say some of the things I wanted to say, but i found myself censored. Some of my entries started little wars, and it got messy. I like to be proud that I am opinionated and like to add my two cents, but others didn't.
Hell, I wrote some stuff about FFXI today on here and got chewed out for a less than perfect view of it.
But, I still need to be out there, writing and letting other people, who choose, to comment and know that there are people out there that are listening, even if they aren't replying. It's akin to exibitionism, but from the safety of the somewhat amon. of the net. Here, I can post whatever and have that freedom for unbiased feedback. Some of the articles I have read here are fucking hilarious, and some really made me think. Hopefully in the future I wil lbe able to do the same.
