Ramblings, just ramblings
Must be Nintendo month for me

Well, again, I find my self wit ha lack of time ot write my articles, but Nintendo fans will be pleased with me this time. Instead of picking on the system for a myrid of reasons, I am going to praise it.

Metroid Prime II is everything that the original was, and more. The concept of shifting between two universes is nothing new, butr Metroid does it with flair. While playing it, I couldn't help think about the Zelda formula being applied to the Metroid series.

Unlike Prime one, the puzzzles and the game play are a little harder this time around. It adds to the difficulty with switching between the Light and Dark world * Queue Legend of Zelda Music*. Instead of walking along and finding all your weapons as you go, Echoes gives you a bunch right off the bat...but they are minor compared to what you get later. At first, there was a sense of relief, until I realized that the cool stuff that I would normally get in the middle of the game I got at the beginning does little to help. As I went, the world of Ether opened up and I was hooked. With Prime one, the tedious gameplay rubbed my nerves raw, but that problem seems to be taken care of in Echoes.

If you love Metroid, and love spending time in front of the console, pick it up. Like, now. Right now. Go.
